Build sustainably - healthier living
Anyone building new buildings or renovating their existing property energetically today is taking on an environmental responsibility. Sustainable building means conscious use and use of existing resources, minimizing energy consumption and preserving our environment. Sustainable construction uses recyclable building materials, such as our recyclable PU insulation material, reduces energy consumption and consciously chooses sustainable, regional building materials that are produced in Germany and cause lower transport costs.
Sustainability is not expensive
Products that meet sustainability criteria are often not even more expensive. On the contrary. If you choose sustainable solutions such as insulation materials from Linzmeier, you can even save money in the end. Because our products pay off over time, as they ensure, for example, that heating costs are lower and, if properly installed, have a lifespan of over 50 years. We also offer insulation that is ideally suited for an energetic renovation and is therefore worthy of funding.
We take responsibility
Environmental product declarations We cultivate a responsible use of all resources - and thus take on our part of the responsibility for the environment and society with full conviction. We develop and produce with energy-efficient systems at the two production sites in Riedlingen (Baden-Württemberg) and Königshofen (Thuringia) in an environmentally friendly way and document the successes in environmental product declarations (EPD), among other things. This shows that our safe, tested and sustainable PU insulation materials save about 100 times more energy during their long use phase than is required for their production. The environment and future generations benefit from the reduced CO 2 emissions.
These close-knit controls exclude substances from our products that are classified as carcinogenic, toxic for reproduction, harmful to fruit or mutagenic. Halogenated blowing agents such as HFCs and flame retardants such as HBCD or TCEP are excluded, as are phthalates as plasticizers. The strict limit values for the sum of volatile organic compounds (TVOC) and for formaldehyde are still significantly below the values of other test marks.
Low ecological footprint
Perfectly insulated with emissions in the indoor air that are far below the norm: Not only that with the LINITHERM PU insulation boards from Linzmeier you use technically and ecologically outstanding products with an excellent energy balance - the so-called "ecological footprint" is even smaller than with other materials.
How does that come? LINITHERM products are recyclable, have an extremely long service life, are subject to strict internal and external controls, effortlessly achieve energy standards far beyond the EnEV and, thanks to their slim design, create even more, healthier living space in low-emission air.
With their low ecological footprint, the LINITHERM insulation materials also offer builders a high quality standard, thanks to their high efficiency they enable very good insulation values with low component thicknesses. A LINITHERM PAL N + F element with a thickness of 100 millimeters achieves a U-value of 0.23 W / (m²K) on its own, a element with a thickness of 200 millimeters achieves 0.11 W / (m²K) suitable for passive houses. In this way, builders can be sure that their house is not only healthier in terms of living, but also has an excellent CO 2 balance.
Our recycling concept
In the production of PU insulation products, PU production waste is already reduced through optimized process technologies. Since the insulation elements are usually mechanically fastened or loosely laid, the sorting of waste is part of the PU recycling concept. For example, we manufacture structural building boards from clean PU insulation residues.
“pure life” eco-label
pure-life - Achten Sie auf dieses Zeichen"pure life" ensures that our PU insulating materials with the label will meet the particularly stringent requirements on ingredients and the release of volatile substances (VOC or formaldehyde).
Furthermore, it is forbidden during production to use substances that are classified as carcinogenic, teratogenic or mutagenic. Halogen-based foaming agents such as HFCs and flame retardants such as HBCD or TCEP are also excluded. It is not allowed to use phthalates as softeners.
Better than other quality standards
Insulating materials with the “pure life” label are subject to far more stringent emission thresholds.
Emission-tested by independent institutions
The basis for awarding the "pure life" label and its testing standards have been devised by the Fraunhofer Wilhelm-Klauditz-Institut (WKI), which also awards the label.
Our production facilities are annually reviewed by independent, accredited testing and certification bodies.
Sustainably manufactured by us using renewable energies
Only insulation material products that have been emission-tested and come from a monitored production facility such as ours may receive the “pure life” label.
LINZMEIER insulating materials offer another benefit: our production facilities use renewable energies such as solar or geothermal power during manufacturing.
This is what you yourself can do for a healthy home
Pleasant temperatures and good indoor air are essential for our well-being. Insulated ceilings and walls ensure warm surfaces and therefore rooms without draughts. The insulation used must not release any harmful substances into the room. Another source of hazardous substances in living spaces may be open fires, gas heaters, furniture or carpets and rugs. Therefore, choose low-emission furnishings and building material—look for the “pure life” label when deciding on your insulation material.
