The Problem

Metal roofs and cladding are not sealed to the roof deck or sheathing, which allows moisture to easily get underneath the metal.

If moisture is allowed to accumulate under the metal, two problems can arise. The first is that moisture can prematurely damage the roof substructure, requiring removal of the metal and repair. The second problem is that moisture can condense on the underside of the metal, which can lead to corrosion, requiring the metal to be replaced sooner than necessary.


The Solution

DELTA®-TRELA is a vapor permeable underlayment with structured separation and drainage, specifically designed for metal roofs and façades with metal cladding. The underlayment prevents corrosion and moisture accumulation underneath panels, ensuring the longevity of your metal roof.

The Problem

To become more energy efficient, buildings are now being built with extreme airtightness.
Building wraps are used, but are easily damaged during installation, and they can lead to unwanted, uncontrolled air movement – resulting in condensation.


The Solution

More and more structures are being built with higher-performance membranes to increase airtightness. The highest-performing barriers are fully adhered sheets that have a superior material as well as foolproof installation.
DELTA®-VENT S is a heavy duty, highly permeable, water-resistive barrier and air barrier. The 3-layer, spun-bonded polypropylene is suitable for all wall applications.

The Problem

Storm water runoff can be overwhelming during a heavy rainstorm when it is not effectively retained or circulated. A garden roof can significantly reduce the amount of storm water entering the municipal sewer system, which can result in additional LEED® points over and above what has been achieved for a garden roof alone.


The Solution

DELTA®-FLORAXX is specifically designed to retain water in garden roof assemblies to reduce storm water runoff. The product features large, 20 mm high dimples with an octagonal shape for outstanding compressive strength. The breathable perforation and dimples allow water and air to circulate freely on the underside, so that water cannot collect on top of the insulation. A high water retention capacity and ability to effectively drain away surplus water make DELTA®-FLORAXX ideal for use in extensive or intensive rooftop gardens.
